The aim of the “OeBiX 2026” project is to update the OeBiX studies. Specifically, the “OeBiX” index – which maps the institutional embedding of economic education in general secondary schools and in the training of economics teachers – and the three complementary qualitative studies are to be updated. These studies focus on the integration of economic education into continuing professional development for economics teachers, university curricula, school syllabuses, and the central A-level examination papers for the core subjects of economic education.

The updated OeBiX studies will be published gradually on the OeBiX portal.
