"Wirtschafts.Forscher!" aims to provide students and teachers with a well-founded, multi-perspective and problem-orientated examination of ethical issues in the economy, to link in with the world in which young people live and to involve all players and levels of economic decisions and processes. The programme focuses on current challenges in the economy and society, currently in particular the consequences of digital structural change, which extends to all economic activities.

"Wirtschafts.Forscher!" supports the responsible decision-making and action skills of students in school years 7 to 10 at general education schools and encourages their interest in shaping an economy and society that is both worth living in and sustainable for the future. Each year, up to 20 schools can take part in the ‘Wirtschafts.Forscher!" programme version and up to 100 schools in the ‘Wirtschafts.Forscher!-digital’ programme version. Participation in the programme is free of charge. The main difference between the programme versions is that ‘Wirtschafts.Forscher!-digital’ does not require attendance at events, but provides access to all online offerings, including webinars.

Results:

• Online learning space ‘Wi.Fo!-Lab’ with web-based training, texts, statistics, caricatures, explanatory and expert interviews as well as quizzes for all thematic modules in the area of tension between business - ethics - digitalisation

• Tutorials on the overall programme, curricular classification and the content areas of the modules

• Curriculum analyses

• Ideal-typical teaching sequences

• Qualification events and online support for teachers

• All-day workshops in schools

• Assistance and materials for integrating business ethics content into lessons
